DIRECTV SUPPORTS THE EL ÁNGEL DE MIGUEL COTTO FOUNDATION

San Juan, Puerto Rico, October 1, 2021. DIRECTV added its support to the El Angel Foundation by sponsoring the second golf tournament held by the non-profit organization and whose purpose is to raise money to finance programs that seek to raise awareness about the health and well-being of children and young people and combat childhood obesity.

The El Ángel Foundation is an organization forged and directed by the former world boxing champion, Miguel Cotto and its mission is the eradication of childhood obesity, a condition he suffered. For the second year in a row, they held a golf tournament to raise funds to fund the Foundation's initiatives. Firm in its commitment to support initiatives of a social nature and in support of the community, DIRECTV joined as a sponsor of the event that managed to bring together more than one hundred participants in support of this cause.

“We are very proud to have shared with Miguel Cotto, the participants of the tournament and, of course, the Team of the El Angel Foundation in their Golf Tournament to raise funds in favor of health and wellness initiatives of children and young people in Puerto Rico.
